Beverley's new album - her first since 1999's 'Mixed Emotions' - is to be called 'Close to Home' and is due for release this Autumn. More info soon...

What lovely, lovely messages! Thank you to everyone who has written such kind and encouraging things.
I'm in the middle of recording album number four at the moment - nine tracks are complete - a friend/fan (Isabela) is designing the cover (hopefully!) so you'll be able to hear what I've been up to some time in the autumn...if all goes to schedule. Why do these things take so long??
Can't wait to get back out there doing live shows again. Here's hoping to see you all then!

MESSAGE FROM BEVERLEY (30 April 2008)
Hi everyone, in a couple of weeks I start mixing the next five tracks for my new album (for which I still don't have a title, by the way). Someone suggested 'Housewife Superstar', which I thought was absolutely brilliant until I discovered that Dame Edna Everage calls herself that! Any ideas anyone?
The week after that I'm off to Dubai for a few days with Frank Mead (www.frankmead.com), my sax player, and Gary Sanctuary (keyboard player). We're just doing a couple of after dinner gigs in a posh hotel (the ones I swore I'd never do!) but with any luck there'll be time to get a bit of a suntan on our pasty English complexions!
I love reading all the messages in the guestbook on my website and on MySpace. I'm very lucky (and flattered) to have so many lovely things said about my songs. Thank you!
Lee and Alan (who set up and run my websites) should shortly be getting some more up-to-date photos of me. It's been a while since my last photo session... all kind comments very gratefully received!
